“Loss has mass” is one of the themes in Tim Minchin’s Apart Together.
He recommends it used on a bumper sticker, which I may do for the year 2024.
“People”, whoever they are, have the tendency to judge “the others” just by visual signs or one opinion. It is hardly appropriate. Just by looking at a person, you may guess the age, the gender, but that’s about it. We don’t have our CV (Curriculum Vitae) on our foreheads, so we should be cautious when talking about “the others”.
By no means I’m perfect. I’m just sad and disappointed, that even in 21st century there are wars, homes are being destroyed, “people” must fight for their lives, though we should be wiser as we can watch the “based on true stories” films about the past wars and their consequences.
“We” can learn from the mistakes of our predecessors. “We” don’t need to repeat their mistakes over and over again, thinking that “we” will solve the problems better. “We” only have “better” guns than they had in the past centuries.
LOSS HAS MASS!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERY LOSS HAS MASS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
