V době mého svobodného mládí jsem chodívala do poetické kavárny Viola. Nejraději jsem chodila na pořady Miroslava Částka (1937-2021). Z pořadu ‘Ožeň se, bratře!’ je i následující citát.
In my single youth, I used to go to the poetry café Viola. I liked to go to the programs of Miroslav Částek (1937-2021) the most. From the show ‘Marry, Brother!’ there is also the following quote.

Vzkaz platí stále, v současné době (dnes je 25.12.2022) zvýrazněn existencí počítačů, internetu, chytrých mobilů a sociálních sítí. Nejchytřejší mobily už umí mnohem víc než počítače mého mládí, které by se do kapsy rozhodně nevešly. Jejich výhodou je, že postrádají emoce. Jsou jen nositeli informace, kterou na internet píšou lidé z celého světa … různými jazyky, lidé různého stáří, s odlišnými životními a pracovními zkušenostmi, na různém stupni únavy.
The message is still valid, currently (today is 25/12/2022) highlighted by the existence of computers, the Internet, smart mobiles and social networks. The smartest mobiles can already do much more than the computers of my youth, which would definitely not fit in my pocket. Their advantage is that they lack emotion. They are just carriers of information that people from all over the world write on the Internet … in different languages, people of different ages, with different life and work experiences, at different levels of fatigue.
Letos jsem měla opět možnost navštívit Cambridge. Ve svém oblíbeném Talking T’s obchodu jsem koupila jedno tričko pro sebe. Je na něm: “Nechci, nemusím, nemůžeš mě donutit, JSEM V DŮCHODU … udělej si to sám!” Vím, ne každý je v důchodu, ale vynechte “RE” z anglického “RETIRED” a každý by to mohl použít. “Tired” je v češtině “unavený”. Poselství je tudíž podobné tomu od Petera Altenberga.
This year I had the opportunity to visit Cambridge again. In my favorite Talking T’s shop I bought one t-shirt for me. It says: “I don’t want to, I don’t have too, you can’t make me, I’M RETIRED … do it yourself!” I know, not everyone is retired, but leave “RE” out of “RETIRED” and everyone would be able to use it. The message is hence similar to that of Peter Altenberg.
